the scheduled time; or

2) A passenger is under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the scheduled flight time;

3) The passenger behaving in a manner that is offensive; or

4) The pilot deeming that the passenger is behaving, or may behave in a manner that would jeopardise the safe conduct of the flight.

 

Passenger Responsibility.

Paradise Seaplanes is licensed under the Australian Warbirds Association (AWA) to carry out Adventure Flights in aircraft Wilga 80 PZL. Detailed attention to safety and aviation regulations is met by Paradise Seaplanes at all times.

•Passengers agree that there are certain hazards applicable to aviation and indemnify Paradise Seaplanes and its officers from any medical condition, or loss of personal effects.

•Passengers agree to indemnify Paradise Seaplanes and its officers against any claim as a result of death or any serious injury.

 

Warbirds

Paradise Seaplanes operates their Wilga 80 in the Limited Category as a Warbird, therefore, CASA requires us to inform you of the following:

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 150 and 132.155;

o The design, manufacture, and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and

o CASA does not require the aircraft to be operated to the same degree of safety as an aircraft used for regular public transport or charter operations; and

o The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk; and

o If it is reasonable to believe that a passenger cannot understand the safety briefing; said passenger must be accompanied on the flight by a parent, guardian, or carer; and

o A more detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft

o If the person making the booking for this flight is not the passenger, note that the operator of the flight is required to provide the passenger with a detailed briefing – to include the information contained herein – prior to the passenger boarding the aircraft.

 

COVID-SAFE

The health and safety of our team members and guests is our number one priority.

Paradise Seaplanes has adopted industry standard COVID-SAFE practices, however, as with other forms of transit, such as taxis, Ubers, etc., due to the size of the aircraft, we will not be able to maintain social distancing between pilot and passengers.

Please be advised that while COVID-19 restrictions are in place:

Flights are restricted to members of the same household or close friends.

Single fares will not be matched on flights.

Adequate ventilation is ensured.

All of our flights are shorter than the recommended two hour maximum.

All COVID hygiene practices will be implemented including sanitising headsets, seats, seatbelts and touch points between flights.

Masks and gloves are available if you wish to use them.

Guests are to ensure they pass the Pre-flight COVID Safety Check before attending the seaplane departure point.

Guests are encouraged to download the COVID-SAFE App.

The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk;

 

If you are not comfortable with these measures, please call us to reschedule for a later date when restrictions are further eased.

 

Passenger limitations.

By booking a flight with Paradise Seaplanes you are agreeing that the recipient is

1) medically fit to fly,

2) within the weight limits 15-140 kilograms and

3) no taller than 200cm.

Please Note: if actual passenger weight on the day of the flight exceeds the weight specified in the booking, the pilot reserves the right to cancel the flight in part or in total without refund.

 

Paradise Seaplanes requires a minimum of 2 passenger fares per flight.

Paradise Seaplanes has a maximum passenger load of 3 passengers.

 

The total combined passenger weight (CPW) cannot exceed

River Dash                               Max CPW 200kg

Maroochy River Adventure  Max CPW 200kg

Sunshine Coast Adventure  Max CPW 200kg

Noosa River Adventure        Max CPW 200kg

Sunshine Surf Patrol             Max CPW 180kg

Noosa - Glasshouse Adventure  Max CPW 170kg

Double Island Point Adventure  Max CPW 170kg

 

The company reserves the right to refuse to carry passengers if they are drunk or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 

Weather and scheduling issues.
Paradise Seaplanes may have to reschedule your flight for the following reasons:

1) The weather is unsuitable.

2) The aircraft is unserviceable.

3) A pilot is not available.

4) The pilot considers that the passenger is for any reason not fit to fly.

5) The pilot considers that any safety issue may prevent the safe conduct of the flight.

 

In the event that unsafe weather conditions or unscheduled maintenance cause the cancellation of your flight then you will be offered a refund* or to reschedule.

 

Liabilities.

Passengers are reminded that all baggage and personal belongings are carried entirely at the passenger’s own risk.

Paradise Seaplanes can give no guarantee of exact times of arrival or departure of any service and will not be liable for failure to make connections to other services.

The company reserves the right to vary the price of any tour as a result of any significant increase in fuel prices, or other related supplier tariffs.

 

*Refunds.

If you need to cancel your flight, refunds will be given according to the following criteria:

48 hours notice or more - 100% refund

24 - 48 hours notice  - 50% refund

Less than 24 hours  - refund not available

 

Gift Vouchers.
Gift Vouchers, as per government legislation, are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. Gift Certificates can be transferred between recipients but this must be organised by calling Paradise Seaplanes prior to the day of the flight. Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

Paradise Seaplanes reserves the right to cancel a Gift Voucher, without refund, if a flight is cancelled as a result of:
